THE TV footie battle between Sky and BT hotted up last night ? after BOTH claimed they landed the best matches.
The Premier League yesterday announced the games each will show for the first third of the season ? the first time Sky has had competition for the top matches.
Sky ? with three-quarters of games ? said it will show all teams by October 6 and twice by December 1. Barney Francis, MD of Sky Sports, added: ?We will show every match between last season?s top four.?
But BT was ?thrilled? to get Spurs-Chelsea and Everton-Liverpool. BT Sport?s Simon Green said: ?We have Man United twice, Man City twice, Arsenal twice, Chelsea twice, Everton twice and Liverpool three times.?
- THE Sun?s digital bundle Sun+ launches next month, with Premier League highlights on your phone or tablet ? plus access to the paper ? for ?2 a week.
